For pre-purchase vehicle inspectors, in any country

Inspect on your phone. Approve the report at your desk.

A 20-step checklist in engine-temperature order, from the cold walkaround to the hot recheck. Photos, measurements and scan files are saved to each step, with or without signal. The report is drafted from what you recorded, checked against your wording rules, and sent when you approve it.

30 days free for pre-registered businesses. No card needed.

The app on a phone at step 2, four corners: tread and pads are measured at each wheel, and the rear right tyre at 2.1 mm is flagged for action and added to the customer report.

What changes on a normal job

01Evidence in one placeEach photo, reading and scan file is saved to the step it belongs to, not spread across the camera roll, a notepad and the scan tool.
02The report drafts as you goFindings become report lines while you work. At the desk you review, edit and approve, instead of typing the job up again.
03Wording checked before it goes outPhrases that overstate a finding are flagged with a suggested fix. A report with open flags can't be approved.

How it works

Five phases, 20 steps, in engine-temperature order.

Cold checks are done cold and hot checks hot. The app keeps the order, so each check happens at the right engine state.

Readings on the wheelsTread, DOT age, pads, rotors, shocks and rims for each wheel on one card. A problem wheel shows red.
Leak points on the engine bayEach leak is a numbered pin with one of five grades. The same points come back for the hot recheck.

Battery tester from a photoPhoto the tester screen, any brand. The readings are filled in for you to check.
Findings drafted from numbersTyre age, pad and tread bands, battery results and service gaps become draft findings you review.
Approve and lockEach approved report gets a version number and a verification code. Corrections become a new version.
Reports, packages and invoicesA link and PDF for the buyer, a Word copy for you. Packages decide the checklist. Invoices in your currency, with your tax and bank details.

The method

The inspection rules the app follows.

  • See it, photograph it.
  • Measure it, record it.
  • Scan it, save it.
  • Hear it, document it.
  • No record means "unable to verify".
  • Cause unsure means recommend diagnosis.

Report wording: say this, not that

Where AI is used

AI drafts. The inspector checks and decides.

Each suggestion is shown next to its source, and is accepted, edited or rejected on its own.

Example: a logbook photo is read, one service entry is drafted, and it is added only after the inspector accepts it.

What it reads and drafts

Your notes. Typed or dictated notes become draft findings and seller statements.

Logbook photos. Service entries are read from photos of the book and invoices.

Scan reports. Codes are read from any tool's PDF or screen photos.

Battery tester screen. Readings are read from a photo of the result.

Wording and summary. Plainer sentences, and a first draft of the summary.

What it never does

Accept anything on its own. There is no "accept all".

Skip the wording check. AI text is checked like everything else.

Approve, lock or send a report. A person does that.

See customer or seller names. We take names out before anything is sent to AI.

Who built it

Built by a licensed inspection business. Set up for your country.

AutoLab360 Pty Ltd runs licensed mechanical pre-purchase inspections in Perth, Western Australia. The 20 steps, the leak grades and the wording rules come from the field guide its inspectors use on every job. AutoLab360 Inspect is that guide as software.

Each business sets its own country, time zone and date format, units (km or miles, °C or °F, psi, kPa or bar), currency and tax (GST, VAT or sales tax). Reports and invoices use them.

Questions

When can I use it?

AutoLab360 Inspect is in use on AutoLab360's own inspections now. Pre-registered businesses, in any country, get access first and hear the launch date before anyone else.

Does it work outside Australia?

Yes. Each business sets its country, time zone, date format, units (km or miles, °C or °F, psi, kPa or bar), currency and tax (GST, VAT, sales tax or none). Reports and invoices use them. Screens and reports are in English for now.

What does the free trial include?

30 days of full access, starting the day your account is opened. No card is needed, and there's no obligation to continue.

How much will it cost after the trial?

Pricing is published before launch. You see it before your trial starts, and nothing is charged until you choose a plan.

Which phones and tablets does it run on?

Any recent phone, tablet or computer with a current browser: iPhone, Android, iPad, Windows or Mac. Add it to the home screen to open it like an app. There's nothing to download from an app store.

Does it work without mobile signal?

Yes. Everything you capture is saved on the phone first and uploads when there is a connection. The sync status is always on screen, so you know what is still waiting.

Which scan tools and battery testers does it work with?

Any brand. Upload the PDF report your scan tool exports, or photos of its screen, and the codes are read for you to check. For the battery, photo the tester's result screen. Original files are kept unchanged.

Does AI write my reports?

No. AI drafts suggestions from your notes, logbook photos, scan reports and tester screens, and can draft the summary. You accept, edit or reject each one, and a person approves every report.

Can I set my own packages and send invoices?

Yes. Each package has its own checklist and price, and the report says what a package did not include. Invoices are issued from the job as a PDF, in your currency, with your tax number, tax rate and bank details.

Who owns my inspection data?

You do. Your inspections, photos and reports belong to your business. They are used only to run the service for you. The database is in Sydney, Australia; the privacy notice says where everything is kept.
